Privacy Policy
Last updated: 1 October 2026
Nightcast is a fantasy action game for Android and iPhone provided by Pixel.al (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information the game uses, why, and the choices you have. It applies to the Nightcast app and to this website.
At a glance
- No sign-up is needed. Your progress is saved on your device and backed up with cloud save (Google Firebase, EU servers) so it can be restored after reinstalling or on a new device. You can delete the cloud copy at any time.
- Optional rewarded videos are served by Google AdMob, which processes device and advertising information.
- Purchases are paid through Google Play or the App Store. RevenueCat verifies them. We never see your card details.
- Gameplay analytics is optional and stays off unless you turn it on.
- We do not request your precise location, contacts, photos or microphone.
- Questions or requests: info@pixel.al.

Information stored on your device
The game stores your progress, heroes, equipment, game currencies, records of purchase rewards already delivered, and your settings (such as audio and privacy preferences) in the app’s private storage on your device. We use this to restore your game and to avoid granting the same reward twice.
Android’s own cloud backup is turned off for the game; Nightcast uses its cloud save instead (see below). On iPhone, device backups follow your Apple device settings.
Uninstalling the game or clearing its storage deletes the copy on your device. With cloud save on, your progress comes back the next time you open the game signed in to the same Google Play Games or Apple Game Center account. A guest backup made before you sign in belongs to that installation and cannot be restored after reinstalling. Restoring store purchases restores eligible purchases, not currency you spent.
Cloud save
To keep your progress safe and consistent across your devices, the game stores a copy of your save with Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore), on Google Cloud servers in the European Union (Belgium).
- What is stored: your game save (progress, heroes, items, currencies, settings and records of rewards already delivered), when it was last saved, the app version and platform, and a Firebase account identifier.
- Accounts: when you first open the game, a guest Firebase account is created automatically. When you sign in with Google Play Games or Apple Game Center, your cloud save is linked to that game account, and Firebase also stores your Play Games or Game Center player identifier and display name. We do not receive your email address or password.
- Who can see it: only your signed-in game can read or change your cloud save. We access it only to provide the service and to help you when you contact us.
- Your choices: the Account & Privacy screen shows the cloud save status. Delete cloud save immediately removes the cloud copy and its Firebase account, and keeps cloud save off on that device until you turn it back on. Progress on your device is kept. You can also request deletion at nightcast.fun/delete-account.
- How long: until you delete it in the game or ask us to delete it.

Rewarded advertising
Nightcast offers optional rewarded videos, for example to earn coins or a revive. You never have to watch an ad to keep playing. These ads are provided by Google AdMob, using Google’s User Messaging Platform to ask for consent where the law requires it.
When ads are requested or shown, Google’s software may collect and process your IP address and the approximate location inferred from it, advertising and app-set identifiers, device information, app interactions such as launches, taps and video views, information about the ads you see, and crash and performance diagnostics. Google uses this information to deliver and measure ads, for analytics and to prevent fraud. Where you have consented or local law permits, ads may be personalized.
Your choices:
- Where a consent choice is required, it appears before ads are requested. You can reopen it from Account & Privacy → Ad privacy choices in the game.
- On iPhone, the advertising identifier is only available if you allow tracking. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device’s privacy or Google settings.
- An active Remove Ads subscription lets you claim rewarded offers without watching videos.

Purchases and subscriptions
Payments are processed by Google Play on Android and by Apple’s App Store on iPhone. We do not receive your payment-card details, billing address or store password.
To verify purchases, manage subscription access and restore eligible purchases, the game uses RevenueCat. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user identifier generated for your installation, your store purchase history and transaction details (such as product, date, price and currency, and store receipt). The stores also send purchase, renewal and refund notifications to RevenueCat so access can be kept up to date. This processing is required for purchases to work.
Cancelling a subscription is done through your store account. Uninstalling the game, clearing its data or sending us a privacy request does not cancel a subscription.

Game-service sign-in
Signing in is optional. Where offered, you can sign in with Google Play Games on Android or Apple Game Center on iPhone. The platform authenticates you and shares your player name with the game, which shows it on the Account & Privacy screen. When you sign in, your cloud save is linked to that game account (see Cloud save). Google and Apple handle their own account information under their privacy policies.
Analytics and campaign measurement
The game includes two optional settings on the Account & Privacy screen. Both start off:
- Gameplay analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase) records limited gameplay events, such as stage results, room times, hero and perk choices and menu use, to help us improve difficult or confusing parts of the game. It only runs if you turn it on. When on, Firebase may process an app-instance identifier, device information (such as model, operating system and language), approximate location derived from your IP address, and diagnostics. Advertising identifiers are not collected and analytics data is not used for ad personalization. Google keeps analytics data for 14 months. Turning it off stops new events and resets the analytics identifier on your device; it does not delete events already sent.
- Ad campaign measurement (Meta App Events) would tell us whether Nightcast ads on Facebook and Instagram led to installs and play. It is not active in the current version of Nightcast, and no data is sent to Meta. We will update this policy, and the store privacy disclosures, before turning it on. It would only run if you opt in, and on iPhone it also requires Apple’s tracking permission.
What we do not collect
- We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or date of birth in the game.
- We do not request access to precise location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone.
- We do not receive payment-card details.
- We do not use your game save for advertising.
How information is shared
We do not sell your personal information for money. Information is shared only with the service providers described above (Google, including Firebase and AdMob; Apple; and RevenueCat) for the purposes described, and where required by law or to protect the security and integrity of the game. Advertising providers may use identifiers for personalized advertising where you have allowed it. You can limit this with the in-game ad privacy choices and your device’s settings.
Retention and deletion
- Local game data stays on your device until you clear the app’s storage or uninstall it.
- Cloud save is kept until you delete it in the game or ask us to delete it.
- Gameplay analytics, if you turned it on, is kept by Google for 14 months.
- Advertising data is kept by Google under its policies and settings. We do not control those retention periods.
- Purchase records are kept by RevenueCat and the stores as needed to provide purchases and meet legal and accounting obligations, even after you uninstall.
- Support emails are kept as long as needed to answer you and for our records. You can ask us to delete them.
Resetting your advertising identifier or deleting local data does not erase information already held by a provider. To delete your cloud save, use Delete cloud save in the game or follow nightcast.fun/delete-account. For other provider-held data, contact us at info@pixel.al. Tell us your platform, and for purchases, your store order ID so we can find the related records. We will explain which records we can remove and which are controlled by the store or provider.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and some US states, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, to withdraw consent, and to opt out of targeted advertising. To make a request, email info@pixel.al. We will not treat you differently for using these rights. You can also complain to your local data-protection authority.
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on your consent for personalized ads and optional measurement, on performance of a contract to provide purchases, on performance of a contract to provide cloud save, and on our legitimate interests in keeping the game working, secure and free of fraud.
Children
Nightcast is intended for players aged 13 and older, and regional ratings may set a higher age. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has provided information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
Your save is kept in the app’s private storage, which other apps cannot read. The game connects to cloud save, ad and purchase services over encrypted (TLS) connections. Cloud saves are protected by access rules that only let the signed-in owner read or change a save. Access to our provider dashboards and support email is limited to people who need it to run and support the game.
This website
nightcast.fun does not use cookies, analytics or third-party scripts and loads no external fonts. The site is hosted on Firebase Hosting (Google), which may keep standard server logs, such as IP address and requested page, for security and reliability.
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when the game’s features or data practices change and revise the date above. For significant changes, such as turning on a new service, we will also update the store privacy disclosures before the change ships.
