Every stage plays differently

A stage is three rooms joined by safe passages, and the rooms keep changing: fights, traps, puzzles and treasure.

Morwenna timing her run between erupting flame vents in a Cinder Gauntlet.
Rooms

Gauntlets, runes and lanterns

Time your jumps through flame vents and crumbling bridges, repeat rune sequences, light lanterns in the dark and hold the line against waves.

The perk altar offering Magnet, Bounce and Thorn Aura.
Perks & relics

Build a new run every time

Pick one of three blessings at the altar, find relics on high ledges, and mix 34 perks and 12 relics into your own build.

Bosses

Face the Choir’s champions

Three two-phase bosses guard each chapter’s end, from the Gate Knight on the burning bridge to what is hatching beneath the throne.
